Not sure what to say?

I was a student at Eberwhite Elementary during the years when Mr. Riggs joined our school. I was a third grader in 1972 when Mr. Riggs became my Principal. He was one of those amazing people that you always remember, and always keep with you in your heart. He was so fun, so kind, and really loved all of "his kids". I can't put into words the impact he made in my life. I am so sad to hear of his passing earlier this year, and my condolences go out to the family of this wonderful man.

I student taught at Eberwhite in the late 70's and remember Mr. Riggs as being a very kind and thoughtful man. I am so sorry to learn of his passing. Sincerely, Geraldine Koupal

Dear Robin & family,
So sorry to hear about your father. From the little bit i got to see him, he seemed to have a great gifted talent with the youth.
With what Dina G. & the others wrote about him, i am sure he had touch many people lives & they all have very fine memories of him.
May he rest in God's peace, and may God bless you with His peace as you mourn.

I was a student at Eberwhite in the 60's. Mr. Riggs was awesome.
My condolences to the family.

To the Riggs family may God bless you all with wonderful memories of a dear man. i came to Ederwhite in 1976 without a clue Mr Riggs and the staff at Ederwhite didn't know what they were facing with this new group of kids , but i would like to said this man had an undeliverable amount of patience from his thumb tricks to placing a hand on your shoulder, about a year ago i had the opportunity to care for Mr Riggs and share some memory and laughs thank you again for being you R.I.P.

I was a student at Eberwhite in the early 80s. I still tell my kids stories about Mr. Riggs. He left a huge impression on me during a time when I was trying to find my feet. Much grace, peace, and comfort to his family.

I began student teaching in Milt's school, and often ran into him during my years of teaching in A2. Milt was nothing short of a prince of a man. Always had everyone's best interests at heart, a kind and competent administrator. I truly admire and respect this rare, immeasurably sweet, perceptive and caring being.

Many blessings to all he leaves behind . . . my thoughts are with you.

It was my privilege to have taught for Milt under his excellent professional leadership for his entire tenure at Eberwhite School. He knew what was important to students, parents and teachers and served all very well. He was a true gentleman in every way. My deepest sympathy goes to Pegi and the entire family.

I'm sorry to hear about Milton and wish the family only good memories. My children, Scott & Kristin, attended K-2 at Eberwhite in the early '70s & I enjoyed substitute teaching there on several occasions under his principalship. Though we're not related, he would sometimes joke about it. Sandi Riggs
