Thinking about Uncle Mickey today and missing his gentle soul.

On the anniversary of Uncle Mickey's death, I want to thank him for the wonderful children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren he left behind. What a legacy. I think of him often. He was such a kind and positive force in my life. I hope you are up there touting your brushes, Uncle Mick! xo

I enjoyed talking to him. He shared stories of his service in WWII, and his trip to then-Palestine to visit relatives on leave. I will miss him.

As a child I remember Mr Temkin coming to the house and always aving some samples for us kids. we loved it.

In blessed memory of Uncle Mickey from B er Sheva Israel. I received the news today Israel where it is fast day today. Milton Temkin was a giant Torah personality. He is the son of Yakov Temkin, the quiet and pleasant Talmud schlolar which the Orthodox rabbi's who would consult with if they had a question of Jewish law in Springfield. Mickey's father was the reknowned Shmuel Michel,(who he is named for) who lived in Slutz Russia and was one of 8 Gaonim, (talmudic genius) which is mentioned...

My Uncle was my first boss teaching me how to sell "Fuller Brush" door to door with my little red wagon. He will be sadly missed by my husband, myself, my parents and brothers and all who knew him.
