I worked with Rev. Vereide's brother, Warren, at the City of Seattle. What a great family. Warren often spoke about the great work his brother was doing for people around the world. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. May God bless Rev. Vereide and his family.

So sorry to hear of Rev Vereide's passing. Having Parkinson's must have been very difficult for him especially in his last years. He was a fine man and I will never forget him. I thought of him frequently as the mild minister of John Knox church, Canton, Ohio where he gave his blessing to our beloved "Cellar Coffeehouse". It was a haven for many of us and Rev Vereide's presence helped keep it a comfortable place to be... with sincere sympathy to his family and all of us who loved him.....

To the family of Reverend Vereide: What wonderful memories I hold of your Dad and Mom and our time at John Knox. Your Dad's loving example of Christianity was instrumental in my formative years, and I will always be grateful that God brought him into our lives at such an important time. We rejoice with him now, as he shares in Christ's victory over death and look forward to a happy reunion one day.
