Milton Viorst

Though I never met Milton in person, he was a part of my husband's history as Milton babysat for Bob Cohen and their parents were friends. I also have a connection to Paterson where my mother was born. Bob recalled having dinner with Judith and Milton in Washington and being very impressed that they served dinner late, which he thought was very classy.

It is with great sadness that I read of Milton´s death this morning. Alex was my first bar mitzvah student. I have warm memories of chats with both Judy and Milton on their Cleveland Park porch. Alex was just as his mom portrayed him, a reluctant student. After Milton took the family to Israel and Egypt, Alex returned full of enthusiasm for his studies.
