MILTON H. WARD

My condolences and sympathy go out to the Ward family. I worked for Milt when he came to Grants, NM from San Manuel, AZ. I would have a difficult time in finding a better boss, with a brilliant mind. We had lunch at Chuck and Ann's each day and he once told me that he planned to be running Kermac in a very short time. He did just that. I also worked for him at the Tungsten mine in North Carolina, when he ran Maxie Anderson's company out of Albuquerque. I learned my management style...

Having just learned of Milt's passing I wanted to express both my sympathy to Adele and family and my admiration for a life well lived. He was an amazing intellect who lived an inspired life. It was a blessing to have known him.

Mom and Dad really loved your family. He was such a great guy and enjoyed by all his friends in the mining community. Adele, I just heard about Milt's passing. He was a wonderful man, a great friend, and an excellent mining engineer. All his friends at Continental Conveyor and the University of Alabama will miss him and wish you the very best. God bless you and keep you.

Milt was a brilliant mining mind, who worked endless hours for the betterment of our chosen mining profession. Milt's ethics were above reproach; he taught by example and generously allowed others to share his successes. He was my boss, my mentor, my teacher and my friend for some 14 years. I will miss his wise counsel. Adele, Jeff, Lisa; may God's love give you peace in this time of sadness.

Condolences to his family, friends, and professional colleagues. Mr. Ward had a substantial influence on many mining and exploration geology professionals in southern Arizona. He was the 1993 Inductee to the Mining Hall of Fame. Rest in peace
