Not sure what to say?

Ginny and Family,
I just found out today (10/30) about Doug's passing. I'm so sorry for your lose. My wife and I went to Mars Hill College with Steve and Donna taught with Steve's wife. I met Doug when I joined the Football Officials Association 1n 1975. He and Martin Halsted were the guys who took me under their wing and taught me about officiating. He always had a smile and a good word for you and I enjoyed working with Doug. I know a little about what you're going through. I lost...

Dear Aunt Ginny
I am so sorry to learn of Uncle Doug's passing. I have so many fond memories of growing up with him - he is one of the most loving (and humorous) men I have ever known! He will be missed by so many. Please take care of yourself - I will keep you in my prayer's. Love, Terri Lynn Graybill

Dear Virginia and family,
I am sorry to learn of Doug's passing. He and I walked to ALHS together, in '39 and early 40's, when he lived in that beautiful, old brick house off 4th street.
He was a great athlete, and a devoted supporter of the Town and City of Salem. He will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,
Alden A. Scott ALHS '44

Dear Family
On reading of Mr. Williams passing, I am struck by his commitment to God, his family and the commnity. It seems that he accomplished two lifetimes in his 85 years. May God Bless You and Keep You as you go forward and treasure his memory.
A friend in Christ,

Ginny,
We are so sorry to hear about Doug. We are in Florida and will not be able to be there in person but will be praying for you and your family during this difficult time.
Love and prayers

Dear Friends,

How sad I am to read of the loss of your husband and father and my lifelong friend. I have such fond memories of our families' special relationship, vacations at the beach, and the love and kindness "Daddy Doug" extended to Kitty and me, our parents, and our grandparents. Be assured of my prayers for you and my assurance that he is celebrating with his Lord, resting at last!
