Minerva Carr Canavan

I went to Camp Shoshoni for four years in the mid-60s. Min was such a memorable part of that experience. She was so kind, patient(!), and was such a reassuring presence for us girls, many of whom were away from home for the first time. She was so very much at home in the mountains. Ms. Canavan is one of my very best memories from Brighton High School, class of 1980. She was empathetic, caring, and imparted wisdom to whomever had the privilege of spending time with her.
