Minerva Lara Obituary
Minerva is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Lara; and her daughter, Gloria Susana Lara. She is survived by her children, Minerva Lara Elizalde, Francisco Roman Lara II, and Norma Lara Keammerer; her 5 grandchildren, Benjamin F. Lara II, Frank Gayhart, Arturo Uresti Jr, Xavier M. Lara, and Gabriel R. Keammerer; and her siblings, Zoila Wedgeworth, Dolores De La Cruz (Manuel), Abraham H. Luna (Rose), Richard H. Luna (Josie), and Arturo H. Luna; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to her caring and loving caregivers: Becky Cardenas and Janie Salazar.
A visitation for Minerva will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, 515 North Main Ave, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home the following morning, Thursday, November 3, 2022, at 9:30 AM for a funeral mass at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 210 St. Ann St, San Antonio, Texas 78205. A graveside service will follow at San Fernando #2 Cemetery, 746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78237.
