Proctor Funeral Home - Camden Obituary

Minnie VeDean Gill, 80 of Camden, died Monday, November 22, 2021. Born July 21, 1941 in Village, AR. She was the daughter of Robert and Irene Pyle. She was a cashier at Wal-Mart for many years. She was all about going shopping and eating out with her best friend Leona and visiting with her brother and sister. Her hobbies were worrying about us kids, sewing, crocheting, knitting, making quilts and occasionally reading a book. But we also can't forget lifetime TV.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold "Pete" Gill; her sister, Lee Ware; and her parents.

Survivors include sister, Dovie West; brother, Gary (Kathy) Pyle; three daughters, Polly (Jimmy) Pottridge of Springdale, AR, Tina (Dale) Stevens of Valdosta, GA and Tammy (Kelly) Cantrell of Camden, AR; nine grand kids, Melissa (Matt) Palermo, Scott (Holly) Pottridge, Dakota (Britni) Pottridge, Logan Pottridge, Wesley Pottridge, Tabitha (Matt) Warters, Tela (Seth) Moorer, Angela Stevens and Jake (Lindsey) Cantrell; several great grand kids; and a grand dog (as she would say, she is a mess! And then laugh).

A graveside service will be held at 1:00PM Friday, November 26, 2021 at Mt. Horeb Cemetery.
