Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home Obituary

Minnie Rose Coke Morgan, 91, wife of the late William Ray Morgan, passed away on December 17, 2025, at Baptist Health in Lexington, KY. Born December 10, 1934, in Salvisa, KY, she was the daughter of the late William Thomas Coke and Allie Belle Chilton Coke.

Minnie worked as a machine operator at Texas Instruments for approximately twelve years before retiring. Prior to her employment there, she devoted herself to being a homemaker and raising her three children. Family was the center of Minnie’s life. She loved spending time with her family, playing games, and caring for her grandchildren. Minnie was known for her generous spirit—she opened her home to anyone in need and was always willing to babysit or lend a helping hand. A woman of strong faith, she enjoyed listening to Billy Graham sermons and took pride in sharing those messages with others.

Including her parents and husband, Minnie, was preceded in death by her siblings, Buford Coke, Jeanette Carey, and Luther Coke.

Minnie is survived by her children, Deborah Cummins (Alan), Dennis Ray Morgan (Ann), and LeeAnn Peach (Jimmy Lee Hawkins); her siblings, Fred Coke, Thomas Coke, Bruce Coke, Paul Coke, and Nancy Long; her grandchildren, Jessica Lavinder (Jed), Joshua Caine Stansbury (Suzette), Amanda Chambers, Kayla Carney, Deanna Rae Morgan, Ryan Clay Peach (Samantha), and Jon Cummins; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tori, Matthew, Makenzi, Kennedie, Tucker, Jade, Janelle, Camden, Gavin, and Stetson.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Al Peach officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joshua Stansbury, Ryan Peach, Tucker Chambers, Camden Carney, Matthew Stansbury, and Gavin Carney. Honorary pallbearers will be the rest of Minnie’s grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Not sure what to say?

I loved this little precious woman! I've been taking care of her for the past two years at Sayre broke my heart when I was told she was gone. Told me she was going to do the twist at my wedding. Loved this woman and her family
