PARSONS, Minnie Beatrice Peterson, 70, of Ashland, Va., departed this life Thursday, July 28, 2011. Minnie was a retiree of the Richmond Public School system with over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Thelma Peterson; and brothers, Alvin and Wilbur Peterson. She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, William F. Parsons; two daughters, Ginger Parsons-Pryor (Kevin), and Wendy Parsons; son, Craig E. Parsons Sr. (Raquel); 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; devoted sister, Virginia Tarrar; three brothers, Theodore (Mary), Bernard and Barry (Talisa) Peterson; a devoted niece, Stacy Peterson Ross; two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, a host of devoted friends, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Remains rest at March Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Ave., where viewing will be held on Monday, August 1, from 12 noon to 8 p.m., and where family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at First Baptist Church, 800 Thompson St., Ashland, Va. Rev. Gordon Pleasants officiating. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens.

I Remember Minnie's smile and gracious personality while working as our secretary at Maggie Walker High Class or 1971.She always showed concern for us and was always helpful. Heaven just got another ANGEL.Blessings to Minnie's entire family and friends.
