Not sure what to say?

Laurie was the type of person who brightened up the room just by entering. Her smile and warm personality was contagious. She loved people and life which made becoming a teacher a perfect choice. She touched thousands of kids lives, and they are better people because of her. My prayers go out to her family, loved ones, and her students past and present. R.I.P. Laurie. You will be missed.

Aunt Lauri,
Thank you so much for all the wonderful memories that I will always hold near and dear to my heart. I am so grateful for all you did to help me, my mom and my sister throughout the years. I also can't thank you enough for giving me the best cousins anyone could ever ask for. You will always have a special place in my heart.

I knew you for a short 4 years, however I feel so blessed that I had the incredible opportunity to know you. You were Life and have shown us all how to live it. I will walk this friday that very special lap at Mt. Tahoma in honor of you Minta. We will meet again, hugs my Chemo Buddy. Your friend, Chemo Kim

Minta was an inspiration to all of us at PLU during her years there (and after I'm sure). I was blessed to walk in her light and we spent many a night at the Denny's on Pacific Ave. drinking coffee until we couldn't blink, laughing until we cried, eating an entire pie between the two of us and cramming for some test. Her friendship and impact on my life is and always will be permanent. Run with the angels my friend and peace to all those she has left behind.

Strength through belief and by being an example to her students. She is now at Peace. We who are left had a wonderful person in our lives. May her life be the inspiration to all who knew her or came into the world she knew and loved. Rest in Peace, Minta. Sweet in our memory.

Minta (Ms Misley) as I knew her was one of my favorite teachers, coaches and as I grew friends. I'm so grateful that she was apart of my life and am truly sadden that hers ended so soon. I'll never forget the locker room talks and advice over cheeseless veggie pizza :). She will be missed!

I will always remember Minta's smile and unwavering courage. She was truly an amazing inspiration to the 'Crest community. God bless you & yours forever!
