Not sure what to say?

Clem and family:

I want to express my condolences to you, your brother and other family members on the passing of your mother. As you are aware, I had the privilege of serving with this great progressive woman when we were both in the Illinois House when Harold Washington was Mayor, and years before you served.

My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends for the loss of your loved one, I am so sorry for
your loss. May you find strength in God and comfort in his promise at John 6:40.
