Miriam Brokaw

Miriam was my piano teacher many, many years ago. She instilled in me a love of music I still have today. She encouraged me to go to music school in Chicago. I have taught piano to many students, still play and sing at age 75. She will always be in my heart.

As a child, I didn't realize what Mrs. Brokaw had to offer to me. As an adult, musician and music teacher I've realized that she was a fabulous teacher and mentor. My daughter and I enjoyed visiting her last June just after her 103rd birthday. My sympathies to the family.

M irriam will always hold a special place in my heart. She was always a bright beautiful light to my days and she will be missed. I am so grateful to have met her and her family. I also will never forget how to correctly enunciate the word button! There are 2 t's ;) Until we meet again sweet woman!

Thank you for blessing so many lives with your music. I am sure you are enjoying your cello playing once again in heaven:) I am blessed to have known you. You were an amazing example of a true Christian.....
