Not sure what to say?

Remembering you fondly.

Time does not diminish the memory of such a kind and dedicated Sister.

To the Carioto Family, especially Anthony, Kim, Lauren and Anthony Carioto: So sorry to hear of Sister's passing and I regret not being able to attend her Funeral Mass at St. Pius X to pay respects to a life well lived and who made such an impact on countless lives as an educator and leader in the Syracuse and Albany areas. I loved to talk with her about our mutual affection for Skaneateles where she spent many retreats furthering her Faith. May she be at Heavenly peace and I am sending...

Sister Miriam was my principal and my three siblings principal at Saint Margaret´s for many years. She was stern, but caring and kind. Our family has been forever changed and are eternally grateful for her guidance and grace over the years. We´ve planted a tree in her memory and pray she rests in heavenly peace. Love the Williams family, Steve, Juanita, Nina, Jacqueline, Steven Jr., and Jesse Williams

Single Memorial Tree

Sister was the principal at St. Matthew School when my children attended there. She recognized greatness in the children, all children, and encouraged them to be their best selves. I was blessed to work with her at St. Margaret's, and the family atmosphere she created will always be remembered. Sister, thank you for the Windex, and ring your bell in Heaven. God bless you and all the hearts you have touched.

The Carioto Family and Sisters of Saint Francis: Fondly recall when Sister Miriam Anthony was my "released-time" instructor from1960-61 at Syracuse, NY's St. James Parish in the Onondaga Valley. A most fervently devout and loyal member of the Franciscan Order of the Roman Catholic Church. Years later, 1973-2005, was a colleague and co-worker of 2 of her 1st cousins, brothers Frank and Gus Carioto. Happy memories! May your period of bereavement and grief be, mercifully, short. God bless...

Condoglianze per la perdita di sorella Francis

Sister Miriam Anthony was my daughter Lisa´s principle at St. Matthews in East Syracuse from kindergarten on. She was a wonderful teacher, principle and the children all loved her and she loved them. They knew she was always there and they could go to her with anything. She could be firm but always had a smile and a wonderful sense of humor. She was a family friend also and we will remember all the wonderful times spent together.
