I met Mariam by Faith. Her mother was a neighbor of mine who was in need of some alternations. I remember doing alterations for her and a bride to be in the family. What a wonderful family! I bought her miniature books.
Faith loved her daughter.

Miriam was my older cousin, and I can't remember a time when I didn't admire her and want to hear what she was thinking and working on! She was a writer, an artist, a researcher, and a great story-teller. She loved chartreuse. In her younger years she wrote for American Home Magazine and lived in Mexico. She called her writing during this time, "disposable writing."
