Miriam Edgerley Long

Both Miriam and Cliff were such a delight. Always caring, giving of themselves, sharing a story, lots of gardening advice. My life and my husband's have been enriched by knowing both of them. Probably half of what grows in our gardens is thanks to their generosity. My pride and joy is an oakleaf hydrangea from their very own back yard. May they both rest in peace.

I send my deepest sympathy to Miriam and Cliff's families in this tragedy. I had the privilege of singing with Miriam in the Deer Creek Chorale for many years. She was always dependable and a welcomed spirit to our group. A friend and I visited Miriam's Gardens and did her tour, learning about new and interesting plants and taking many of them home with us. These plant souvenirs are happily blooming in my gardens now. They are a legacy of Miriam and Cliff's generosity and creativity and...
