I met Mimi in 1966 when hired as her accompaniast for her singing and dancing performance in the Albany Tulip Festival. I'll never forget it, as after hours of rehearsal for her number, "If My Friends Could See Me Now, I started off in the wrong key. But somehow we got through it.
