Miriam "Mimi" Siegel

Mimi Siegel profoundly influenced three generations of women in my family: my mother, Ruth Bullock Reed, my daughter, Evan Downing, and myself. Mimi was my mother's spiritual and intellectual equal, a yoga guru for all occasions--one of Ruth's most treasured friends. Over the years, my daughter and I profited from Mimi's friendship as well. She was a will-o-the-wisp who taught much by her example.
