Not sure what to say?

Today would be Miriam's birthday. She was a very special person and I have many happy memories of time spent with her, mostly laughing. Andrea and Nathan, my heart is feeling sadness for you. Email [email protected]

I knew her as Cherry, long before she changed her name to Miriam. We worked in Psychology at UBC and had more laughs than I had ever had with anyone else. Her humour and good spirits were infectious. Her positive attitude was exemplary. My heart goes out to her children.

On behalf of the staff of the Vancouver International Film Festival and the Vancity Theatre, I would like extend our heartfelt condolences to Miriam's family. Miriam enjoyed the annual film festival and was a loyal volunteer at the Vancity Theatre. Thank you for all that you've done for us Miriam. R.I.P.

I was so sorry to miss the celebration of Miriam and her life. Miriam thoroughly enjoyed all that life had to offer and as she got older it did not seem to slow her down. I have met few people who were so appreciative of what they have and what this earth has to offer for those who are willing to be open and search, and of course, contribute. RIP Miriam. We may meet again for a Scrabble rematch ...

Celebration of Miriam's life was so special and just the way Miriam would have loved it! On the roof top garden where we often had a glass of wine together, the harmonious voices of the choir and such moving tributes by Andrea and Nathaniel. Miriam you will missed deeply, your down-to-earthiness, sharp wit, and joyous outlook on life will be often be reflected upon. Your presence was felt strongly at the March through the streets of Downtown East Side, and you were there right alongside,...

It was always a pleasure remeeting Miriam at the Van Int'l Film Festival & comparing our views on the multitude of film screenings.
Thank you for the beautiful Celebration of Life yesterday on the roof honouring Miriam. Miriam had so many interests & it was a pleasure to learn & see that her life had touched so many folk from all walks of life.
Nathan & Andrea, your mother left a wonderful legacy.
Take care of yourselves.
Safe travels to Paradise Miriam

Miriam, I didn't know you well, but a lot of people I love DID and it was lovely to see all the fine people who came to your service, talked, sang and thought about you

We will miss Miriam so much at Crane Production. She was a long-serving, dedicated and outstanding volunteer. She contributed not only her voice and time, but her curiosity, energy, pluck, and a genuine team spirit. We were so lucky to have her and our hearts and thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time. We will miss her and forever be grateful for her numerous contributions.

From myself, Clay, and Jacky: Rest in peace and thank you, Miriam.

I will miss Miriam's interesting conversation and great, wry sense of humour. She never even blinked at what others would call my talent for non sequiturs.
