Our deepest sympathies to your family in the loss of your matriarch Misao Minagi. I was able to share some great adventures with our love of mushrooms; sharing stories of her learning mushroom hunting out her back door in Japan from her mother, learning the mushrooms of Mt. Hood and us venturing out in all kinds of weather (one time ending up in the middle of a cattle drive). We talked mushrooms and recipes. Misao was an amazing woman. What stories and memories she shared with us. What a fascinating life she lived. She lived through and created history of significance that formed our current lives. She will be missed.
