Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Mitch's passing and am sending condolences to the family - from a Saginaw native who remembers vividly when Mitch and Don Steele arrived in Toledo to run the public schools. We offered friendship and enjoyed Mitch's company, on occasion. Always tried to keep track of him - such a talented man.

God bless you my old friend. Mitch´s mom and dad and my parents all started this in long ago in our hometown of Brooklyn NY. Such a good person all his life.

Sorry to hear of Mitch's passing. I remember him from Mr. Somerville's band class. He was very passionate about his music and it showed.

I've been looking for him for so many years to let him know how much he meant to us and the entire Arthur Eddy School! He was soooo loved! I can't stop my tears because I never forgot the love for the sound of band music and remember ever note to every song he taught us!. He will be missed so hard. To Mr.Berlins family thank you so. Much for sharing him with us!

Mitch was a great guy. He loved music. He was my good friends step father. God bless his family and friends.

Mitch was a great friend. We played in band together the Medallions witch we later renamed the Javelins ,Great times

May you find peace as you mourn the loss of Mitch. I remember his excitement at giving back to the community with the Learn to Fish program and his love of telling a good story.

For 3 years he was my band teacher at Arthur Eddy Junior high where he taught me how to play the same instrument he played, the alto saxophone. That was from 1972-75. May God continue blessing the family as you're going through this difficult time.

May your heart find comfort knowing that your love one is at home with the Lord Love Gwendolyn E.March Jones and Family Toledo, Ohio
