Not sure what to say?

Uncle Mitchell and I laughed about our terrible back problems... and our yoga efforts etc to resolve them. But what I remember most fondly were the wreaths he sent every year since I was a very young child...more than 30 years at least, they´d arrive on the front door. What a blessing he was-words can´t say how much I appreciate him.

I am saddened to read that Mr. Adams has left us. While I didn't actually know much about him, I feel like I have "known" him for many years. We would see each other in the neighborhood and talk while our dogs, Kubrick (his) and Tucker (mine), greeted (read: sniffed) each other.

Mitch, as I new him (I did not even know his last name), was always so pleasant, and I enjoyed seeing him and hearing his friendly greeting ("Hello Tucker"). Though, not having seen him recently, I began...

I just noticed Mitchell’s passing due to the dedication of H&H’s beautiful televised Messiah, one of Mitchell’s many visions to bring pleasure and new meaning to our Greater Boston region. I knew Mitchell as a friend and a mentor to me and my younger class at Harvard whom he welcomed into his society after he’d graduated. He was loved and admired by all. RIP, Mitchell.

I am so sorry that you have gone you were alway so generous with my family. -

My husband,Lee Smith, admired you so and After meeting you at those Terre Haute Wiley High School reunions, so did I. You and I both shared the pain of losing the loves of our lives and our need to find a way to go forward. Like my husband, you earned the best of titles: A truly good man.

Mitch and I were good friends in Terre Haute, Indiana, where we lived in the 50's and 60's. We shared many great memories and he was a constant attendee at our high school reunions over many years. Most recently, he joined us in Milwaukee last fall. He was always warm and engaging. I also knew Mitch's brother and his father - I often stopped by their home in Terre Haute and marveled at his dad's business of raising and marketing herbs. He was a charming man - all of his friends from the...

We are so sorry to learn if Mitchell's passing. We have lost a good friend from high school days. What an amazing man.

And with it all, one sterling accomplishment after another, he was genuinely self-effacing, kind and warm, a gentleman in every sense of the word. Every time that I have been at Harvard, I have looked for Mitch, often found him, and when I did, we always had a wonderful time together. Without exception, he brought something new to the conversation, and a sparkle to life itself.
