Not sure what to say?

He just knew how to reach the inner being of children's intelligence. His passing is a huge loss. I am sorry to be sending condolences so late, but his spirit always lives inside my work.

My sincere condolences to Mitch's family, and his many later life friends, on Mitch's passing. I grew up a year ahead of Mitch in Bloomfield and remember him as a very intelligent, caring person. Rest in Peace, Dr. Mitchell.

Sorry to hear of Chester's passing... I grew up with Chester in
Bloomfield, Ct.. God bless his memory and God bless his family....

Although we are saddened by the loss of Mitchell, what a great legacy of service to the community he leaves! Mitchell's parents and my parents were great friends through the years in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Our thoughts are with his family at this time.

Mitch and I first met over 15 years ago at an education meeting when he was working in Ohio. Over the years at subsequent meetings, it was always a pleasure to talk with him and hear about the exciting and innovative things he was doing to foster education in his state. He will be sorely missed and my sympathies to the family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. May you gain comfort by pouring out your deepest emotions to God in prayer. Know that He cares for you and wants to help you during this most difficult time.

I am very saddened by Mitch's death. I am proud to have worked with him at the Ohio Department of Education. He was a visionary leader in education and treated everyone with kindness, respect & a touch of humor. Heaven's gain is the world's loss. Rest easy, Mitch

Commissioner Chester changed my life for the better. He has inspired me to go into educational policy, and I genuinely believe that Dr. Chester was the greatest public servant of our lifetime, because he sincerely cared about the students he served. He also took the time to talk with all stakeholders and he truly valued our thoughts and concerns. My condolences go out to his family and friends, because we have lost a truly wonderful man, but he will never be forgotten.

Sorry for your loss may you draw comfort from Gods word at HOSEA 13:14 L Ohio
