TO THE MITCHELL FAMILY:

MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU AS I REMEMBER HIM, ALWAYS SMILING WHEN EVERY YOU SAW AND SPOKE TO HIM. HE IS NOW IN THE ARMS OF GOD!

MY YOU FIND PEACE IN THE BEAUTIFUL PERSON HE WAS! MAY GOD ALWAYS BLESS EACH OF YOU! I WORKED IN THE SAME BUILDING WITH MITCHELL AS WE ALL CALLED HIM FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS WITH THE IRS! I'M NOW LIVING IN OHIO!

WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Jensen and family,

I am so very sorry to hear about Mitch, and wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Though my memories of Mitch are primarily from those early years in Laurel during our crazy, carefree childhood, it is apparent that Mitch lived a remarkable, full and productive life and touched the hearts of so many in a very loving and meaningful way. Truly a life lived in such a way as to make a real difference in the lives of others. ...

To Mitch and Jaron,
I had the privilege of working at a VITA (Tax Site) with Mitch many years ago and he was very humorous. One day, Charlene Pace and I went to your house and Mitch gave us a tour of your living, dining and back yard. Your home looked like a picture out of an architectural magazine. Mitch told us how he made the tropical background look behind the swimming pool. He was so proud and Charlene and I still brag about the mansion to this day. My name is Jane Mayo-Castillo...

I am so sad to be out of town and miss the service for Mitchell. I'll be there in spirit, celebrating his life and all the ways he inspired and touched so many people. He was a strong rider in the Hill Country Ride for AIDS, and was a magnet to get other people to do it. Everyone who knew him loved him, and we were all drawn to his bright smile and infectious laugh. His spirit still shines brightly, and always will. We are all blessed to have known such an amazing human being. To all...

To Mitchell and Jaron,
A breeze blew by me today and I felt your presence near. Like a wavering flag gently blowing, telling me not to fear. Like the sunshine in your smile that started a light to burn in so many lives. We started this journey not knowing what Gods plans were for us , but always knowing we had to go on. The wind whispered your name saying don't be afraid to live and love. Then it gently blows away leaving me longing to hear that familiar voice and see your loving smile....

Oh my, how we ALL loved Mitchie..such a happy man, full of life & laughter, & I loved his wonderful, infectious laugh. I called you just a few weeks ago, & was so happy to hear that laugh again, what a strong & courageous man...I will never forget you sweet friend...prayers to Jared & your family, we will all miss you. Love, Laura

Terry and I send our most heartfelt sympathies to Leroy, Reeny, Mark, Matt, Susan and each of Mitch's loved ones.

Every once in awhile you are blessed to meet someone who is special because of their love for life; their love for people; and their ability to see the best in difficult situations. Mitch was such an individual and it was my privilege to have known him. We worked together at the Treasury Complaint Center and I could always count on him to produce excellent work with an excellent attitude. He was witty, kind, considerate and always available to help as needed. I prayed for him during this...

Our Mitchell will be truly missed. I can't imagine not getting a phone call or email from him. He touched so many lives and could always make me forget about all life's problems and have me laughing within 30 seconds. He was my hero! We continue to carry you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Find comfort in fond memories, family and friends.

Mitchell, until we meet again! I love you!

Sincerely, Sharon, Billy, Blade and Jed Waller
