Mitchell Lanier

Mitchell passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Mitchell was a resident of Metter, Georgia at the time of passing. Mickey was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5893 and the American Legion Post 108 He was a graduate of Metter High School class of 1966. He was a retired deputy from the Candler County Sheriff's Office, having served as the D.A.R.E. Officer for many years, he was also a veteran of the army having served in Vietnam. Funeral service will be held on Friday May 24, 2019 at 11am. at Anchor Worship Center with burial to follow in Lake Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 5-8pm also at Anchor Worship Center.
