Read MoreMitchell and I were best childhood friends in Brooklyn. He, his brother Eric (Petey), his mom Sylvia, and dad (I forgot his name) lived "across the way" from us. When my family moved to Queens and the Levine´s moved to Silver Spring MD, we took a train down to visit them. I miss Mitchell a lot. And miss Petey too.

Mitch and I were friends when we both lived in Flatbush. Our parents were friends too. Last time I saw Mitch was about 1958. A big loss for me.
