Mitchell Vaughn Rader

I met Mitch In Germany B Co. 3/63 Armor. Mitch was my Platoon Sgt. I was Mitch's gunner. Mitch was an outstanding NCO and friend. When we would meet at huddle house or around town we would always talk about our time in Germany. So many friends have passed from that time. Mitch you are always on my mind and in my prayers. Sleep well brother.

I met Mitch in 1992 when I went to the Armor Center to teach. He taught me about Tanks and how to teach. I was already a Tank Mechanic when I met him but he helped make me a great mechanic. He will be missed, we always teased people we worked with that he was my uncle and he may have been distantly but he was a great friend and mentor. Godspeed my Brother and we will meet in Valhalla!

I miss you, Mitch, we would meet at the Waffle House every morning things just want be the same, I don't know if I can still go there, I always stop we sit and talk now there is a hole in my heart. love you, Mitch.

Condolences to his family and friends. I met Mr Rader, a little over a year ago. I helped him pull the old carpet and staples out of his living room. He was a very sweet person and I thoroughly enjoyed the time that I spent talking to him. I lost my job and never got to see it get finished, but sometimes people touch your life for a simple moment and leave a permanent mark in your heart. I'm sure that everyone that knew him were blessed.

Mitch was a good friend. We met years ago at WaffleHouse and enjoyed many conversations about motorcycles and cars along with our days of Military Service. RIP my friend you will be sorely missed.

A real soldier as you can see from his service to our great country. He helped me when I was a young NCO and supported me in things I was doing. I served with hin three different times and saw him almost on a daily basis after we both were retired. He was a strong friend and true American. Rest in peace my friend and brother.

I didn't know Mitchell well but I considered him Waffle House's most faithful customer. Always admired his pickup trucks. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
