My condolences to Mick's family. I taught with him at John H. Shary and truly respected the way he conducted himself at all times with grace and dignity. He was an excellent model for the children as an adult who never lost his quest for keeping in shape. RIP, Mick, the world was a better place with your presence.

Coach Sawyer, as we respectfully called him, was such a kind and patient person. I had the pleasure to work with him as part of the staff at John H. Shary Elementary and
he was my son's coach through his years in elementary school. Coach Sawyer taught the students with respect and was instrumental in getting the first running track at JHS.
Prayers and condolences to the family of Mick Sawyer. He will be dearly missed.

Respect for others, kind heart, quiet strength, and intelligent, courteous, helpfulness. These are the qualities I remember in my friend, good neighbor and professional peer, Mitch. Stunned to hear of his loss by his family and community. Warm comforting thoughts to his family. With highest regards,

I extend my sincere condolences to Mick's family. I knew Mick briefly when he would come to wrestling practice at Pan Am. He would spend time working out with us and helping us with pointers and time on the mat. Wrestling was a passion for him and he enjoyed it especially when he would kick our butt. I have good memories of Mick and I carry those with me. I offer my prayers to his family and pray also that our Father keep him by his side.
