MARION, VIRGINIA: MITCHELL JAY TAYLOR, age 47, died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl A. Taylor; and a brother, Stan Taylor. Mitchell is survived by his mother, Louise Crewey Taylor of Marion, Virginia; brother "Cotton" Taylor of Abingdon, Virginia; four sisters, Carolyn Pugh of Bristol, Tennessee; Lois MacLean, Kathy Collins and Sharon Adams all of Chilhowie, Virginia; niece, Erin Pugh; nephew, Chase Taylor; two step-nieces, Ashley Reid and Courtney Moseley. Private services will be held at Marion Baptist Church, Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mark Ross officiating. At the family's request there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Marion Baptist Church, 1258 North Main Street, Marion VA 24354. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the Taylor Family.

Mitchell Taylor was my first love, we dated on and off for several years. He had a heart of gold was loved so much We had bad times and good times and our secrets, they will always be remembered
