Not sure what to say?

To the Hasuike family, my deepest condolences on the passing of sweet Mits. I was very blessed to have worked and known both Mits and her husband Jim; both were such sweet people. I grew up working on the farm and later as an adult had the privilege of introducing my firstborn daughter to Mits. I have nothing but great memories of the family. May God bless you and comfort you all.

Growing up in Tigard, my sisters and I all picked berries for your family at your farms off Beef Bend on Bull Mt. in the 50's and 60's. Remember when kids were allowed the option of doing something constructive with their summer vacations? I often thought of Mits as a surrogate berry field mother; particularly that rainy summer when as 10 year olds my twin brother Doug and I ventured out to pick strawberries with Lloyd and Marshall. As nervous as I was, Mits made us feel welcome and comfortable. In later years our father, Al, often spoke of his friendship with Jim growing up on neighboring farms...

Hello from the Waterman siblings. Sorry to hear about Mitzs. Think back on them fondly remembering when Betty and Grace were just toddlers. You and our own parents taught us what earning a dollar was all about and we grew to have good work ethics. You are a wonderful family. Respectfully...Dennis, Diane, Donna, Danny and Debbie Waterman.

so sorry to hear about your loss. All us kids spent a lot of time out at the farm. We still talk about those times often. It was a big part of our childhood...The Dickoff family (Dave, Bob, Ken, Diane, and PeggyAnn)
