Not sure what to say?

In the early 50's, Mitzi was the pianist for Mr Clarence Cook, who was director of the Hueytown High School Choir. She was a lovely young woman. I had the pleasure of seeing Mitzi again in 2003 at our 50th HHS Reunion, where she again accompanied our singers. That was a pleasant surprise to see her again. Deepest sympathy to the family. I know Mitzi will be missed by a lot of people.

Mitzi meant a lot to me. I learned of her death on the 33rd anniversary that she played for my
wedding. Mitzi was the best organist
I have ever heard or had the opportunity to sing with. I loved her dearly. My thoughts and prayers
are with you at this time.(From Mt. Vernon& Gardendale Mt. Vernon UMC)

Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Mitzi was a good friend for many years to my mother and father (Ruth Rockwell Rogers and Hugh Rogers). I think my mother knew her from her early days when the Rockwells lived in Wilkes. I can remember Mom and Dad talking about visiting Mitzi and her mother in their later years. My dad especially enjoyed talking to Mitzi about politics. Mom passed away in May 2002 and Dad in May 2003. Mitzi was kind to remember them both when they passed away. Although I never met her, I will always think...

I have thought of Mitzi over the years and am sorry to learn that she has passed away. I was organist at Crumly Chapel Methodist Church at various times in the late 40's and early 50's, with the late Clarence Cook as Choir Director, and Mitzi subbed for me many times. She was a remarkable young woman and I remember her fondly.

To Mitzi's Family:

None of you know me, but I knew Mitzi in college. I remember her well and especially remember her strong Christian spirit. I shall pray for you as you go through this difficult time.
