Not sure what to say?

I worked for Mizell for about 6 months at UUNET. During that time we carpooled. We remained friends over the years. There are so many things I think of when I think of Mizell. I think of his humor, his generosity, and his love of life. We all shared a lot of laughs; Mizell was a funny man. Most importantly, he loved life and wanted everyone around him to love life. We all are blessed to have known him. We will miss you, Mizell.

I was extremely saddened to hear about the passing of Mizell Scott he was a wonderful person who loved to make people laugh and always kept a smile on his face...I was a former co-worker of his at UUNet. He will truly truly be missed...My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and my god be with you all!

I was deeply sadden to hear the passing of my mentor, my brother, my friend. I have known Mizell for over 12 years, he was a great friend to many people. A unique individual that will never be forgotten. I will always treasure the great times we shared. He will truely be missed. My prayers go out to his loved ones. God Bless!

My wife and I are both ex-UUNETers with fond memories of the joy and laughter Mizell brought to our workdays. We are saddened by the loss, and are keeping his family in our thoughts and prayers.

It's sad to read of the premature passing of yet another UUNET friend. I guess it's shocking because we all felt so invinceable at the time. We really were a team and Mizell was our mascot. Rest in peace, friend.

Mizell was a funny, tolerant, warm-hearted man. He worked hard at UUNET to compensate for flawed software (and flawed software people like me) and made our lives better. My best wishes to his family!

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Mizell's passing. Mizell was one of the singularly finest people with which I worked at UUNET, and he will be missed.

I worked with Mizell for the first year of my tour with UUNET and remember him fondly for all the joy he seemed to get out of Life. He always had a smile and a good word for us all, seemed boundless in his capacity for cheer and never left a room without brightening it a bit. It was as much a pleasure to know him as it is now a shock to learn of his terribly premature parting. All our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

To a friend who made life better by his celebration of it. He left us far too soon, but the exuberance of his spirit will not.
