All my condolences. You may remember me; the boy from New Rochelle, N.Y.. you met in 1956 in Santa Barbara, and you invited in your home in Arcadia.
I may not have come back to California but the entire family is still in my heart.

Although our family has been gone from Upland for more than 10 years, we never lost memories of Moana's powerful love and support for children and their families. I can still see her pacing up and down the sidelines of the soccer fields saying "Go Jack, Go Jack" as he took the ball down to score - A precious vision !

Ryan & I at Kevin's wedding, Moana, Barry, Randy & Jack were there as well.
Moana was a wonderful friend who will be remembered for her hospitality and warmth displayed to all of the kids she welcomed into the Plotkin home. Our kids always felt welcome to drop by their house and visit--she showed how much she cared aobut each one by how well she knew them and their interests. We always enjoyed time spent with Barry & Moana at Lamppost Pizza on Friday nights--good memories that are even more special at this time.
