Not sure what to say?

This is the first time to see this announcement. Every so often we all reminisce about people that had a positive impact on your life. Coach Benedict was no exception. I certainly had a lot of respect for him and owe him for opportunities I had while playing for the Jamestown Expos, in `84. May continue to cherish your memories of him, as he led a very fulfilling life.

I attended Michigan from 1978-82 and worked at the Intramural Sports Building. I was one of those poor saps that actually thought I had a chance against Moby and his bleach bottle! No such luck. He gave me batting pointers, basketball shooting tips. Just such an approachable, kind man. So glad he was part of my college experience. So very sorry for your loss.

You smiled on the new Big Ten champs. Enjoy it as I am

I am sorry for your loss. Every loss brings up all the others. PEACE.

Dear Pat, So very sorry to learn of Moby's passing, sending our heartfelt condolences to you and Michael and family.

To the Benedict Family, Moby was very special to our family. No trip up north to Bear Lake was complete without a visit to Pat and Moby's, a get together on our deck, on their deck, Friday Fish Fry, Hungry Tummy, and numerous trips to pick cherries, to find special places around Bear Lake to visit. Our Kodie Bear came from one of their pups... So numerous are the memories that make life so much better. I loved listening to he and Dad tell stories. Thank you for sharing Moby with us all.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I was among the many people who played paddleball with Moby. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him and getting to spend time with him. He was remarkable in so many ways. I also enjoyed just visiting with him in his office at the IM building. He was always interested in me and my life despite his own busy life and career. When I think of Moby, a smile comes to my face. I still remember him telling me on more than one occasion, "go home and kiss your wife..and do it right this time."...

Dear Pat & Family: I was saddened to hear that Moby had passed. He was a positive guy, and it brightened my day when he would stop by the office to say a few kind words. Moby will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. RIP Moby.
