Moira Ann Bates

My son Lee had Mrs. Bates as his 2nd grade teacher. She inspired his curiosity to continue learning and keep asking, "Why?" I had the pleasure of working with Moira both at Evergreen Elementary and Dr. N.H. Jones. I also was lucky enough to have taught her son, Keyvius at Evergreen. What an amazing lady, always generous and kind with a great sense of humor. She will be missed! My love to her family!

Moira and I both taught second grade at Dr. NH Jones. When I was new to the school she was so very kind to me in helping me acclimate to the grade level curriculum and the school culture. She was a great teacher and friend. I´m blessed to have known and worked with her.

I worked with Maura at Doctor NH Jones and she was a very kind and happy person. She will be missed by anyone who knew her. She loved her family very much and talked about them with such joy in her heart.

I worked with Moira Bates for 9 years at Dr. NH Jones Elementary School. She was an amazing educator who truly made a positive impact to her students and the educators she worked with. She was so proud of her children and spoke highly of them. I could always count on her to give her honest opinion. She helped me complete a project through an interview when I was finishing my reading endorsement.
