Not sure what to say?

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I am so sorry to hear about Moira's passing. I worked with her over 40 years ago at Stamford credit union. She was also a member of beta sigma phi and we made it tradition to meet at our annual parties. She was always so much fun. We used to have great parties . She will be missed. Sending my sincere condolences to Doug and her girls.

My mum had already shared her thoughts, send mine back Doug and family at this heartbreaking time, mum has always spoken so lovingly about her friendship with Moira, and indeed with you, Doug, while it’ll never ease the pain or anything he loss, Moira clearly has touched many and leaves a fabulous legacy, may she rest in eternal peace ...

I met Moira in 2007 at a quilting group. Over the years we became friends. We had many a laugh over our mistakes. Shared ideas on how to make better “points” and neater “corners”. She was a wonderful and kind lady. Always had a smile. I will miss her. Rest in “piecing” another “quilt block” dear friend.

Moira was my friend growing up in Scotland and lost her mum when she was fifteen. Moira would talk to my mum if she needed to. I last spoke on the phone about two weeks ago with Moira. I will miss her reminding me when my sister would say that she was telling on us for talking in the church and other memories, You are at peace now Moira my dear Scottish friend.

Moira was a friend who would light up a room with her presence and smile, and our lives were richer for knowing her. We will always remember her kindness, and her love of family and life. She never forgot her Scottish roots and we have fond memories of the times we spent with her and Doug. She will be missed by all who knew her.

You are my sister

So sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Moira for a number of years at the lottery. She was a very special person.
