Molly Corlett Obituary
Molly was born on October 7th, 1954 in Madera, California and passed away on August 9th 2005 at home in Novato.
Recently diagnosed with terminal cancer, Molly carried on her brief battle with a dignity and a courage that is truly an inspiration for those of us she left behind. She spent her last day with us surrounded by her family and friends. Because of the disease, Molly's exit from this life was not easy. We console ourselves with the fact that she is now at peace and no longer in pain.
Molly worked for Wells Fargo Bank for over 30 years most recently as a Vice President in Private Client Services. She has been on the Board of the Novato Youth Center for a number of years, serving as President of the Board this past year.
She married Michael Corlett of Novato on June 7th, 1997. In addition to her husband, Molly is survived by her parents Tom and Delores Van Elswyk of Napa, her brothers Steve Van Elswyk of Redwood City and Jimmy Van Elswyk of Novato, stepchildren Connie Corlett of San Rafael, Amiee Corlett of Oakland, Christine Koontz of San Rafael and grandchildren Lily, Evan and Avery.
Final arrangements were handled by Keaton's Redwood Chapel, 897-1151.
A Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church in Novato on Wednesday, August 17th at 7:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Novato Youth Center, 680 Wilson Avenue, Novato, CA 94947.

I just today read about the passing of Molly. My dearest condolences to the family. I only met Molly one time at her Grandma Frances home and found her to be a very lovely person. I enjoyed meeting her. I know she will be missed. May she rest in heaven in Grandma Frances arms. God be with the family at this time of sorrow.
