Not sure what to say?

I had the fortunate blessing to be hired to work with "Dr. D". Her humor and wisdom were tremendous attributes that made my job so enjoyable. Despite my delayed knowledge of her passing, I am so sorry to learn this news today, and wish all of her many many loved ones my condolences. You are loved Dr. D! - Prof B

I recently heard of Dr. Dumaine's passing. It brought back many fond memories that I lost over the years. Last I saw of her was Dec. '02 when I walked. She helped me tremendously

You.
You were the springtime of my life; the bride of my youth. Lovers for life who grew up together; raised a family together; laughed and cried and danced together; wrote poems and songs to one another; touched and kissed at every parting, every meeting.

You were my life, my wife, my lover, and my friend. You taught me to be kind, and the meaning of courage and nobility in adversity.

Today, at the cemetary, there was a brief sun-shower. Your mother said, "Look!...

Marian was my immediate supervisor several years ago, but always made all of her staff feel like family. She attended my baby shower and some of the other important events in my life years ago. She inspired me to advance my career in health care. She will be sorely missed.

A life lived well, a great legacy left for those of us touched by her life. The best professor I've ever had. A true social worker! My condolences to her family and friends.

Marian touched our lives in such a loving and positive way. She gave of herself unselfishly and was a true friend. We will truly miss her warm smile and strong spirit. You will always be in our hearts.

When I received the email from FIU about Dr. Dumaine's death, I was dumb-founded. Dr. Dumaine was one of the most loving, caring, and compassionate professors that I have met. I have taken classes that she has taught and if you have never had that opportunity, you have missed a meaningful experience. I think that I can speak for social work students who she has advocated for, when I say that we have lost a priceless treasure. I would like to let her family know that I am praying that God will...

Sending you and your family heartfelt sympathy. Hoping time passes gently for you all, healing love and memories in your heart forever.

Unknown Author: God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to me”. With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God...
