Not sure what to say?

Every day I look at the picture of Mona and me laughing and it reminds me how much she meant to me and all the great times I had with her. I sure did love that woman!!!

Mona was one of my dearest friends. I loved her and her wonderful children, special photographic subjects for me. She always greeted her friends with enthusiastic smiles rising above any personal grief. All my photographs of Mona and family are in my collections at the State Historical Society of Iowa. Love to all of you, Joan Liffring-Zug Bourret.

I first met Mona when I moved to Glenhaven Manor. I didn't know her name yet, but she helped me, a stranger, speak at a meeting.
In the following years, I had lunch with her often. She was so funny and had so much spirit. I will miss very much. Glenhaven/American House will miss her very much.
My condolences to her family.

Sorry to hear about Mona. I also remember spending a lot of time at Lisa's and got to know Mona. She was a wonderful person!

I would like to share my prayers of support and comfort for Mona's family. I spent a good part of my childhood in Mona's home in CR. Without even realizing it, I found that she was my lifetime example of a strong woman. She loved her children and I respected her immensely. She will be greatly missed. Love to all, Jen

What a unique, respectful, loving and fabulous obit for your Mom who was definitely, positively unique and fabulous! Rog, Janel and I are so blessed and honored to have been a part of her "family'. Praying for peace and rest for you, after caring for her so lovingly and gently before and after the "ship docked"
Love you so much, me
