Mona was the epitome of graciousness. I was fortunate to teach with Mona for fourteen years at Franklin. She served coffee for the teachers in her classroom every morning before school and was the leader of organizing shower, wedding, and baby gifts (she liked to shop and we liked to let her do it for us!).
