Hello, Harvey Family -- this is Dawn (Murphey) Peterson. My dad called to give me the news of Mona's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Mona was the epitome of graciousness. I was fortunate to teach with Mona for fourteen years at Franklin. She served coffee for the teachers in her classroom every morning before school and was the leader of organizing shower, wedding, and baby gifts (she liked to shop and we liked to let her do it for us!). She served as a model for me about how to treasure and treat our friends. After Mona retired, she left a big hole in our staff, but we tried to carry on her tradition of a daily...
