Mona Catherine Doss Ussery

I was so very sad when MC died. Covid kept us all who loved her and admired this Great Lady form sharing in her final farewell in this earthly life. My husband and I cherish all of our wonderful memories we have with Elmus and MC and Kaki and Kent. I think of here often she was a role model to me. What a gift their friendship and guidance has been to many who adored them and were Blessed to call them family. We love you Roxanne & Rick

became friends with MC and Elmus in the late 70's. Later partnered with them on developments and worked with them to get many projects out from under the horrible business climate of the Jimmy Carter era. They never faltered, giving me a long leash which enabled much creativity, including the use of "Hoochey Chips" for trading things of value. It was a wonderful time in which our families were extremely close. My thoughts now are of Kacky and Kent

I have fifty years of fond memories of M.C. and Elmus, Kent and Katherine. So many of us can recall Elmus with the 168th Support Group and the Reserve Officers Association, with M.C. constantly at his side. Sympathies to Kent and Katherine on behalf of our veterans organizations. M.C.- RIP.

MC will surely be miss I remember when I would visit her she always had bloody Mary's ready and she would have a vodka and diet tonic. Will miss her smiling face. ❤❤❤❤
