Mrs. Monica (and infant daughter, Lacy Danielle) Beville

Monica McHaffey Bevill, 38, and her infant daughter, Lacy Danielle Bevill, of Blytheville, passed from this life Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Monica was born in Memphis, TN to Murray Dewayne and Donna Louise Moser McHaffey and was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church in Blytheville, where she was active as the AWANAS Director. Monica graduated from Southside High School in Jackson, TN with the Class of 1991, then went on to Arkansas State University, where she received her Masters Degree in Counseling. She was the Counselor for Gosnell Elementary School. Monica was a wonderful wife and mother and loved Mark and Ryan very much. She was an avid reader, an awesome cook and adored her two dogs. Monica and Lacy were preceded in death by her mother and grandmother, Donna Louise Moser McHaffey. They are survived by Monica's husband and Lacy's Daddy, Mark Bevill, of the home; Monica's son and Lacy's big brother, Ryan Bevill, of the home; Monica's father and Lacy's, grandfather, Dewayne McHaffey of Jackson, TN; Monica's, mother and father in law and Lacy's grandparents, Harold "Buddy" and Sammie Bevill, of Blytheville; Monica's sisters and Lacy's Aunts, Suzie Edwards and husband, Scott, of Blytheville and Marsha Gardner and husband Justin of Smyrna, TN. Monica's Aunts and Lacy's great aunts, Patsy Haynes, of Blytheville and Sherry Rushing of Senath, MO and Monica's nephew and niece and Lacy's cousins, Kenneth and Brenda Edwards. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27, 2012 at 10:30am in Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Hardesty officiating.
