It's been many years since monica passed. I started babysitting her and Dick's children when they moved to Goleta in 1965. I always liked monica. What you saw is what you got and there was no pretense in her. It was so sad to see someone so young and with so much to contribute become afflicted with Alzheimer's. I am glad that Rosie lived at her folks' house when she was declining. Her faith was enduring. I know beyond a fact that she is in a good place at present.

So sad to hear. She made a huge impact on my son when he was a sixth grader. As a teacher myself, I greatly admired her devotion. She worked with my mother at Brandon Elementary for years. Loved her. RIP
