With love from fellow parishioners who benefited from her beauty and grace. Our hearts ache for her family.

We are shocked and saddened to hear about Monica. She was always so kind and friendly, even while her husband was sick and it was obvious she was badly hurting. I asked her recently how she was doing. With tears in her eyes, she just told me how tough it was on her boys.

You clearly had a special bond with your mom. She was a true example of what it means to love. I can't imagine what you're going through, but know that her love will always be with you.

There are a few memories I will always remember about Aunt Monica. One time when I was younger, I got out of the shower and she was over at our house for Thanksgiving. I walked out of the shower, and I saw tons of ladybugs crawling on the wall of my bathroom. I yelled for help because I hated bugs, and she was the first one to respond to my call for help.
