Read MoreI served with Monica on the Point Beach Council. She was intelligent and sociable and really enjoyed the give and take of politics. We were of opposite political parties and any differences on issues never got personal. She cared about the town and served it well. May she rest in peace.

We have so many wonderful memories of Monica, and she was very special to us. One of her lesser known skills was as a matchmaker. She introduced us to each other in 1994 and we will celebrate our 19th year of marriage in July. Monica was kind, warm and loving and a great friend. We will miss her dearly.
