Not sure what to say?

I lived in Riverwalk until 2014 and I knew the Dunlap family since Noah was very small. I was so sorry to hear of Monique's passing. She was such a kind person. I know she will be missed by many.I want her husband to know we are thinking of him and their children. Janice and Ronnie Smith.

Even though I hadn't seen Monique in awhile, I often thought of her and the kindness she showed me from the day we met on our trip to Italy. She will be missed very much. Fly free my friend.

To The Dunlap Family,
Monique was not only are great teacher but co-worker. ALWAYS kindhearted to all. She will be missed and all of you are in my prayers.

I met Monique through FCC in Nashville. She was a lovely lady and so thankful to have known her. Our thoughts and prayers have been and continue to be with your family. May you be blessed with many precious memories of a wonderful lady who made such a difference in the lives of her family as well as so many friends and students. Her legacy will live on and encourage others.

Mrs. Dunlap was such a special teacher. She made a class like Chemistry memorable and enjoyable for so many students. She not only blessed MLK with her wonderful teaching skills but as a mentor. I'm sad to say I really only got to know Mrs. Dunlap outside of class the year she left MLK, but in those few months she became such a special person to me. The world not only lost a wonderful teacher but a wonderful, kind-hearted person. You will be dearly missed Mrs. Dunlap.

I remember three years ago being in Mrs. Dunlap's class, and looking back I realize that she was one of the greater teachers that MLK had to offer. Chemistry is not one of the most memorable classes for a high school sophomore typically, and if it is it's usually not for good reasons. However Mrs. Dunlap's class was different. And she wasn't just a great teacher, but a great woman. I remember me and friend spending many lunches together with her throughout my junior year. She was so soft...

Mrs. Dunlap was not only a great teacher, but a caring mentor. She genuinely inspired everyone by always had a smile on her face and being uplifting and supportive even during stressful times. She will be deeply missed.

I had the pleasure of having Monique as a room mate in Nashville back in the late 90's shortly after I arrived in Nashville as a fresh faced Brit abroad. A nicer person you couldn't hope to meet. I was always struck by her positive outlook on life and can do attitude. A wonderful person from a welcoming and warm family. Although we lost touch over the years I'll always remember Monique as one of Americans finest.

To Monique's family,
I am so, so very sorry for your loss. Words cannot adequately express how much we will all miss Monique. She was amazing beyond words, and I will continue to not only remember her, but also live by her example. She was a true friend, a loving mother and wife, and beloved by all those who knew her. She will never, ever be forgotten. With much love, The Best Family
