Funeral services for Mrs. Monique Vitrano Valois will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 24, 2015 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville with Fr. Edwin Rodriquez officiating. Burial will be held in the Cushman Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.
Mrs. Valois, age 51, of Marksville, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Joyce Vitrano, grandparents, Tensey and Ann Guillot, and one brother, Glenn Vitrano.
Survivors include one brother, Marcus Vitrano of Tampa, FL., one sister, Angela Barbry and husband James of Marksville, one half-sister, Tammy Laborde of Marksville, sister-in-law, Rhonda Vitrano of Marksville, 9 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Marksville on Thursday, July 23, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will resume on Friday from 8:00 am until the time of services. A Christian wake service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
May you rest comfortably with our Lord. It has been a pleasure to know you and I will remember your smile laughter and kindness. I will miss you.

Mrs. Angela, and family I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Monique. May god give you peace and strength for your hearts to heal. It's never easy to loose our loved ones but it's no more worry for them because our Heavenly Father above has called them home. My heart goes out to you and your family.
