     Monroe Justice Jr., 74, of Canada, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at his residence. Monroe was born June 2, 1950, in Pikeville, KY, to the late Monroe Justice sr., and Lennie May Justice. Monroe was also preceded in death by his son, Shawn Michael Justice, and his siblings, Florene Chapman, and Ronald Eugene Justice. Monroe was an autobody repairman and the owner and operator of Justice Body Shop. Monroe was also a member and secretary for 25 years for the Stone Masonic Lodge #890 and a member of the Eastern Star.


     Monroe is survived by his wife, Sharon Justice; his son/grandson, Tolby (Morgan) Justice of Canada, KY; his siblings, Curtis (Thursa) Justice of Bean Station, TN, and Helena Elswick of Canada, KY, and a host of cousins, family, and friends.


     Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Tuesday December 17, 2024, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY, with Phillip Varney, Ronald Scott, Eugene Gibbs, D. G. McCoy, Danny Pinson, and Duane Dotson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Tolby Justice. Visitation will be from 6 – 9 Sunday and Monday night at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Masonic Rites at 7 PM Sunday night and special services at 7 PM Monday night with Mike Smith officiating. R. E.
