My mother's uncle Monroe was like our uncle, speaking for my siblings and myself. Uncle Monroe was an intelligent and proud black man. He always remembered all of our birthdays. Everyone could learn a thing or two watching how Uncle Monroe & Aunt Lois loved each other so much!
